The map is high quality. It has a nice ancient l ook. Here and there some scratches which add to the vintage look. The big cities are readable for the smaller you should use a loupe. It can be used for a geography lession but is more a wholesome piece of art. The fabric is really great especially under the light and has that golden glow if the sun shines on it. I bought an anchor made of metal and changed the rope to a more robust one, so it all adds more to that vintage pirate look as you can see in the picture.
